Known as “The Philippines’ Premiere Ventriloquist,” Ony Carcamo has been a mentor to Wanlu. Ony is known for his amazing repertoire and writing skills, having been a multiple Palanca Awardee, and a genuine patron of the arts. He is especially popular for his routine where he actually applies scotch tape on his mouth while he lets his puppet still talk rather loudly.
Ony is best known for two things: comedy, and ventriloquism. If he says something and you can’t help but laugh, that’s called comedy. If he says something and you don’t laugh, that’s called ventriloquism.
